In the second quarter of 2025, the free-to-play gaming landscape on iOS in New Zealand showcased some intriguing trends. Sensor Tower provides the following insights into the performance of the top five games.

Block Blast！ from Hungry Studio saw its weekly downloads peak at around 6.2K in the final week of June, while its weekly active users fluctuated, ending the quarter at approximately 110K. The revenue for this period was negligible after the first two weeks.

Roblox experienced a steady climb in weekly downloads, reaching 5.7K by the end of June. The weekly revenue showed minor fluctuations, peaking at about $2.2K in mid-April. Meanwhile, active users increased significantly, closing the quarter at over 132K.

Kingshot from Century Games Pte. Ltd. demonstrated a strong revenue growth, peaking at approximately $18.4K in late June. Downloads rose to just over 4.4K by the start of June, with active users showing a gradual increase, ending at nearly 5.8K.

Royal Kingdom from Dream Games saw its revenue steadily rise, reaching $10.9K in the last week of June. Downloads spiked early in the quarter at 6.2K and then stabilized around 2.5K. Active users increased consistently, finishing at around 15.7K.

Color Block Jam by Rollic Games experienced a decline in downloads, starting at 3.5K and dropping to about 1.6K by the end of June. Revenue remained relatively stable, peaking at $8.6K in early June. Active users decreased slightly, ending the quarter at approximately 9.3K.
